Our Admissions Process
At The Sanctuary International School, admissions are open all year round. However, we encourage you seek admission before September when the academic year begins for a greater chance of securing a place for your child
I. Initial Enquiry and Application
Parents may call the Admissions Office or walk in to make enquiries about admissions.
Interested parents may proceed by completing an application form, which can be obtained from the Admissions Office at a fee.
II. Assessment Examination
After the application form is completed, the school schedules an entrance examination for the child.
The assessment covers English, Mathematics, and Science to determine the child’s academic level.
Following the exam, the school meets with the parents to discuss:
- The child’s results
- Identified needs
- Expectations from both the school and the family
III. Document Submission
When offered a place, prospective students must submit the completed admission form along with the following documents:
- A copy of the Birth Certificate
- Completed Medical Report
- Report from the previous school
- A passport-size photograph of the prospective student
Completed Authorized Pickup Persons form
IV. Offer Letter & Fee Payment
Once all documents are submitted, the school issues an Offer Letter that includes:
- Class allocation
- Cost of books and stationery
- Invoice for the academic term
Parents are to sign and return the Offer Letter, which serves as the official contract between the school and the family.
All fees must be paid directly into the school’s bank account or mobile money account. Proof of payment must be submitted to the admissions office.
V. Supply of Uniforms and Books
Upon submission of all documentation and proof of payment, the child’s uniforms and materials will be provided. These include:
- School uniforms
- Polo shirt
- Socks
- Books
VI. Orientation
The Admissions Office, in collaboration with the Academic Team, organizes orientation programs for all new families joining TSI. This includes;
- Meet with Principal and key heads
- Campus tour
- Student code of conduct and school policies
